Accommodation

From our modern dining room, guests have excellent views of the harbour and down the wooded valley at the heart of Craster. For breakfast, help yourself from our excellent choice of yoghurt, fruit, cereals and juice. Choose a hearty English breakfast, or enjoy locally sourced fish dishes such as world famous Craster kippers, or Craster smoked salmon and haddock. We make use of local, organic and freetrade produce whenever we can and our bread, yoghurt and granola are home made. We are happy to cater for vegetarians and those with particular dietary requirements........More about breakfast

Harbour Lights is situated within convenient walking distance of the local shop/teashop, the village pub - the Jolly Fisherman - and the Craster Fish Restaurant, located in Robson's smokehouse. If you would like us to make a reservation for dinner at a local restaurant on your behalf we are happy to do so if you let us know prior to your arrival.

The breakfast room affords a good view of the harbour

Harbour Lights provides ensuite accommodation in both its double and twin rooms. Bedrooms are decorated in muted shades and enhanced by paintings and prints by local artists and cut flowers from the garden. Cotton bedding and fluffy towels add to guests comfort.

Both rooms are centrally heated and radiators have thermostatic valves that let you control the heating. They are also equipped with fan heaters, with a 'cold blow' setting, to ensure your comfort in all seasons.

There are facilities to make tea, coffee (also decaffeinated) and hot chocolate, with fairtrade ingredients. Heatherslaw Bakery biscuits are also provided.

We provide a hair dryer, hot water bottles and additional blankets. A sewing kit, first aid materials and an iron and ironing board are available on request. If you should get wet, we are happy to dry off your gear ready for your next outing.

Rooms are provided with a range of tourist literature and we are happy to offer advice about walks and places of interest if you wish. A selection of magazines, books and DVDs about the area, its history and wildlife are available to enhance guest's stay.

Both rooms have flat screen digital televisions with built in DVD/CD players. They receive all of the Freeview TV and radio channels.

Modern ensuite rooms are fitted with generously proportioned shower cubicles and under floor heating. Faith in Nature shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided.
