Breakfast

Breakfast is served in our dining room, which offers excellent views of the harbour and down the wooded valley at the heart of Craster. Our breakfasts make use of high quality local produce and home cooking to offer a tempting choice of tasty options.

Start breakfast with our home made yoghurt, fruit dishes, cereals, including our home made granola and juice. Choose a hearty English breakfast made from sausages and bacon from our award winning butcher, Turnbulls of Alnwick. Why not try one of our smoked fish breakfasts from Robson's smokehouse in Craster; Craster smoked salmon and haddock as well as kippers. Our vegetarian options include halloumi cheese and vegetarian sausage from Wicken Fen.

We bake our own bread - white and wholemeal - from flour supplied by Heathersaw water mill in North Northumberland.

We are happy to cater for those with particular dietary requirements.

In recognition of the quality of our breakfasts, Harbour Lights has been awarded the Visit England Breakfast Award. This award is only given to those accommodation providers who "offer their guests a high quality and good choice of breakfast plus service and hospitality that exceeds what would be expected for their star rating."
