Sylvia Biott

My work is inspired by the North Northumberland coast, where I live. Many of my pictures feature fishing boats, harbours, castles and local villages.

The vibrancy of my work derives from colours, light and movement on bright, windy days. The strong images are enhanced by texture built from layers of thick acrylic paint applied as the paintings emerge from the original sketches.

Framed original paintings are priced at between £500 and £1000 and framed limited edition prints are from £115 to £250.
